What is Ultra Games?
How many people are in a team?
Open category can be teams of 4(2 males and 2 females) or teams of same-sex pairs.
Skillz category are teams of 4(2 males and 2 females).
Which category should I enter?
There are 2 categories to enter, OPEN and SKILLZ.
Open is for all gym-goers.
Skillz category is for all CrossFitters.

How much does it cost to enter?
When you sign up you will be charged an entry fee of £250 for a team of 4 people or £130 for a team or 2 in the Open category.
Are there any qualifiers for this event?
No, simply sign up as a team and turn up on the day to compete.
Is there an age limit to compete in this event?
Yes, you must be 18 years old or over to compete in any Ultra Games event.
I've paid a deposit, how do I pay the remaining balance?
If you have secured your team's place by paying a deposit, then you will automatically be sent an invoice for the remaining balance no later than 30 days before the event date.
Fundraising
How do I raise money for Cancer Research UK?
When you sign up you will be prompted to set up a JustGiving page which is linked to the Ultra Games event. All fundraising in the lead up to the event will be in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Your friends and family can support you by donating online via your JustGiving page. As a team you will be asked to raise a suggested minimum of £50 for Cancer Research UK.

How do I set up my JustGiving page?
When you sign up you will be prompted to click a link that will lead you to create a JustGiving account. Here you will need to log in to JustGiving or create a new account. Your page will be linked to the Ultra Games event you have signed up for. We set up this automation for you to make it an easy, seamless process.

Do the Top Fundraising team win a prize?
Yes! The top fundraising team will be recognised on the day and receive their top fundraiser t-shirts and medals before the event starts.
How much should I aim to raise?
We suggest that each team aims to raise a minimum of £50 for Cancer Research UK, but we think you can raise much more than this!
Your individual team’s target is entirely up to you as a team, and we will be announcing and awarding the top fundraising team at the event! Contact the Cancer Research UK Team for any help and support you may need with your pre-event fundraising! ultraevents@cancer.org.uk
Will money be raised on the event day?
All money raised on the day of the Ultra Games event will go to the FiiT for Life Programme, another charity we are passionate about supporting. This includes money from on the day raffles and the entrance fees from spectators. Please visit the charity page for more information about fundraising and how this works.
Workouts
Who creates the workouts for Ultra Games?
All Ultra Games workouts are created by Rob Mills. Rob has organised several hugely successful, sold out events and has relished working on Ultra Games.
Are there any examples of the workouts?
You can visit our categories page to get an idea of the type of exercises that will be included at the event.
What movements will I expect in each category?
Visit our category page to see the movements included in each category and find out which category suits your team.
I can’t do gymnastics moves which category should I enter?
If you can’t or would rather not compete in workouts that include gymnastic moves, we recommend taking part in our Open category.
Event Day
Can my friends and family come and watch?
Yes! It is free to attend and you can even bring your dog.
Will there be parking at the event?
Yes, all Ultra Games events will have car parking available.
Charged at £2 for the weekend. 100% goes to charity.
Do I need to fill in a PARQ before I take part?
Yes, each team member will need to complete an online form which will be emailed to you as soon as your sign up. It is also available in your account.
Will there be trade stands at the event?
We will have lots of trade stalls available on the day selling food and drink, equipment, clothing and so much more. There will be plenty to keep you busy over the weekend.
What happens if a team member drops out?
If a member of your team drops out for any reason you can replace them by logging into your account and changing over the name of the participant. The new team member MUST fill out a PARQ form.
Are there any hotels close the venue?
There is a brilliant range of hotels all close to the venue.

How much experience does Ultra Events have?
Ultra Events have organised a whole range of different events since 2009. Head of Ultra Events, Jon, is a keen fitness enthusiast and teamed up with CrossFit Deviant in Derby to bring you Ultra Games.
